Are 190mm wide engineered oak timber floors popular?
190mm engineered oak timber floors are commonly produced in 14mm overall thickness with a 3mm wear layer. Adjoining floor coverings such as carpet and porcelain tiles are closer in depth to a 14mm engineered oak timbert floor, allowing near zero modifcation to achieve that seamless transition, making it a popular timber flooring option.
Can I install engineered oak timber flooring on a ceiling?
The sort answer is yes. Turn your house upside down and your ceiling becomes the floor. Disclaimer: we do not recommend anyone walking on any ceiling ;). The popular option for a high-end timber lined ceiling is definitely a 12mm to 14mm engineered oak timber floor.
